Mingmei Li

Based in Los Angeles, CA

Mingmei Li is a multi-media artist, designer, and art director based in Los Angeles (b. 2002, Shanghai, China). She studied Fine Art and Communication Design at the University of Southern California (BFA 24'). She is currently the Art Director of ByHome and has worked as the Graphic Designer for Happiness University and USC Thornton School of Music Communication Office. Mingmei intertwines her art and design experiences to create moments that truly influence and heal people in the current age of an oversaturated and rapidly evolving world. Previously, she was the Communication and Digital Media Intern at the El Segundo Museum of Art under the Getty Marrow Undergraduate Internships program. 

Art and design have been indispensable parts of Mingmei's life. She previously practiced 2D art with painting and drawing and fell in love with sculpture and installation in recent years. She continues to explore the infinities of art through the vast mediums of video art, printmaking, and photography, along with design through graphic design, web design, and 3D designs with Adobe suites, in both academic and professional pursuits.
